Rockstar Games can do no wrong, except for, well, the occasional slip-up. The beloved video game developers recently found themselves in a rare case of being at odds with their fans for the latest string of teases around Grand Theft Auto 6.

Some fans are expressing their discontent that Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive refuse to reveal more about GTA 6 after its existence was officially confirmed last year, and the fact that it was leaked in September.

However, you can't deny that the company's tactics are effective in building anticipation.

Despite the relative lack of information about its biggest project at the moment, Rockstar continues to keep its fans engaged and invested in the franchise. The buzz surrounding the new GTA game remains at an all-time high, which is probably why we won't see Rockstar stop teasing (and maybe trolling) fans anytime soon.

Of course, the hope is for Rockstar to throw audiences a bone and give them something.

For now, fans will have to settle with tidbits of information like the recent interview with the voice actor of Trevor Philips.

The older GTA games are still plenty of fun to play if you're really looking to scratch that GTA itch.

If you're itching for a GTA fix, Grand Theft Auto V remains just as compelling as ever. Then, once you've played through GTA 5 (again), you can check out GTA Online. Finally, the GTA Remastered Trilogy is now available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. It isn't exactly bug-free yet and probably will never be, but it's in a much better state today than ever before.
