GTA V: Become a Hawk, Coyote, or Even a Cat

From GTA BOOM Wiki

We thought we knew everything Grand Theft Auto V had to offer, including all of the new features in the remastered version. However, Tuesday's release of GTA V for the PS4 and Xbox One was followed by the discovery of an unexpected and fun feature related to the plant pictured above.

That is a peyote plant, and eating it causes the player character to hallucinate. This isn't a standard video game hallucination with graphical changes or visions or anything like that. No, a peyote plant makes the character hallucinate he's an animal... which puts you in control of that animal. There are quite a few different animals you can become, with 27 peyote plants in the game. You can soar above the city as a hawk, terrify people as a coyote, or prowl around as a cat, among others. Playing as the smaller and more harmless animals available can lead to some hilarious outcomes.

CVG highlighted several of the transformations, and suggests the Mount Chiliad plant will turn you into a winged animal, while the other one found so far turns you into a four-legged animal. Check out their video to see some of these in action, along with more extreme overreactions from Los Santos law enforcement.

It's a little feature, but one that could be a lot of fun. Have you found any peyote plants yet?
