GTA V Meets Fallout 4, Has Dogmeat

From GTA BOOM Wiki

This is hardly the first time the paths of GTA V and Fallout 4 have crossed. GTA V was a leap of technology and design in the field of player freedom. GTA V gave you a massive world overflowing with content, provided you with the tools to get the most out of it, and shoved you in with a hearty "have at it". You were then free to explore, enjoy and destroy Los Santos and Blaine county to your heart' content. You could do so many things that it seemed daunting at first, much of them just being added fluff to increase the level of immersion. Rarely does GTA V oblige a player to do something. It is the very opposite of linear.

Gta V Meets Fallout 4, Has Dogmeat

Some time ago, following the announcement of the fourth main installment of the popular and critically acclaimed post apocalyptic role-playing game franchise Fallout, Bethesda spoke of how they wish to implement absolute player freedom in the game. They also said that GTA V was of major inspiration.

Well, things work both ways, I suppose, as this time around it is Fallout 4 that inspired a GTA V player to remake the setting and gameplay of his most anticipated game of this year within Rockstar's blockbuster, thanks to mods and the Rockstar Editor.

The mod unfortunately isn't readily available, and it does incorporate certain smaller mods we've seen before, but the video alone should be enough to jump-start the hype train once again.

The clip does have canine fellows within, and a rather creative, if overly simple way of recreating the V.A.T.S. combat system the franchise is famous for. Also, freaking power armor.

While GTA V and Fallout 4 might not share any characteristics other than being open world, it seems that the two games are inseparable. Oh, the power of high-octane, explosive love.

Are you guys looking forward to Fallout 4?
