So, at this point, we have a lot of ways of making money. This question is for the mid to end game solo players: what strategies are you guys using to make money in GTA Online? I am curious to know!

Yeah, it's pretty good, and also, don't forget to do some heists to be considered as a participant in the ongoing month-long heist challenge. There might be some exclusive rewards when the event is over!I have not played in about 10 days I think so I completely missed out on these bonuses!! I am going to have to check what they are running this week. Are they legit just doing nothing but heist bonus weeks right now?
I am going to be playing shortly. Me and a few friends are going to do the casino heist for those diamonds. Planning on doing it twice tonight and hopefully two times tomorrow.Yeah, it's pretty good, and also, don't forget to do some heists to be considered as a participant in the ongoing month-long heist challenge. That's awesome. I hope you had a good time!I am going to be playing shortly. Me and a few friends are going to do the casino heist for those diamonds. Planning on doing it twice tonight and hopefully two times tomorrow.
We managed to get it done 3 times but not the 4th, still very pleased with our overall earnings. I hope they do this again with heist bonuses this good! That's awesome. I hope you had a good time!
Wow, that is pretty good regardless! We managed to get it done 3 times but not the 4th, still very pleased with our overall earnings. I hope they do this again with heist bonuses this good!
True!I mean if you are looking at per hour earnings, the best are Cayo Heist, the Auto Shop, and the Acid Lab. This is in terms of getting the most money per hour of game play.
You can make a lot with the Agency, Hanger, Bunker, and Chop Shop as well but they won't make you as much per hour compared to the other three I mentioned.
This is what I tend to prioritize after having played pretty much everything in the game. I go back to what is fun even if it doesn't pay as well as some other things. I only do the other heists outside of Cayo when their are weekly bonuses.I also like Agency and Chop Shop cause of the fun factor!
Exactly. Since I don't strictly need money for anything "major" in the game, I go for what is currently fun in the game. And I think this is part of the reason why I don't get disappointed whenever a new update drops. But I do understand people's frustration! This is what I tend to prioritize after having played pretty much everything in the game. Same pretty much. It is not worth trying to find people to play with and hoping they don't screw you over. When there are bonus weeks there are more people playing them and it is easier to get matched up with players.I only do the other heists outside of Cayo when their are weekly bonuses.
Exactly. Also, it is rare to find serious players nowadays. Some just troll or sometimes even if you do get a serious player, they run into connection issues (happened to me multiple times lol)Same pretty much. I noticed this big time. Some times I will join lobbies and then when we are all spawned in, they go AFK or do things to purposely screw everyone over. I did managed to find a few decent players for heists and 2 of the 5 are on my friends list now.it is rare to find serious players nowadays.
Yeah, exactly. I also added some serious players and what's so good about them is that they've never spoken or typed a word but knew exactly what to do during these heists, which is great! ahah!I noticed this big time. You're absolutely right. Like the new content in the game is still not up there with the existing money making strategies. They're good for veterans looking for fun ways to make money, but to make good money to progress, the existing methods are clear! There are quite a few useable suggestions in this thread.
A small question, why update a guide if nothing has changed😉
Back when I started playing GTA Online I went with the bunker I got for free(don't know if you still do) and build up from there following the free and cheap options a first - But the most important thing imo is how your friend wants to play, making money in game is nice, but it has to be some fun in it too, especially for a new player.
If you can find people to play them. That is the trouble with this strategy now. It took my friend ages to even complete the introduction to the heists let alone find people to do the casino one. He started playing the game in October I think. If you want to make the most money, just get to the point where you can do the big heists, the casino one and the Cayo Perico heist. If your friend can manage to do the second one solo, he will be able to stack a lot of cash in a single irl week.
