Older COD games to be coming to Game Pass soon

Microsoft added a ton of CoD games to the store for PC, it seems mostly older titles that have been updated.

There is speculation that these older titles will likely be coming to Game Pass in the coming months and put on rotation with PC getting some and Xbox getting others.

These games include the original Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. All of these games have been accessible on PC in one way or another over the years, but they haven’t been on the Microsoft Store. As such, their addition to this platform suggests that Microsoft is bringing them over to make them available via Xbox Game Pass.

I am hoping Xbox gets Black Ops II (2012), Modern Warfare 3 (2011), and Ghosts (2013) personally. Black Ops II is still my favorite of the COD titles for the campaign and the online multiplayer. I freaking loved that game and would happily play it today.
 
This has been a rumor since like 2022 I think. I guess this is the closest we have come to seeing it happen but this can still be a year or longer out. I would love it if they put them on there soon, like part of the next game pass round cause I would renew my game pass to play some of these older titles. Only if they are online though. I played the campaigns enough.

Same I would love to see the old zombie modes come back.

People are talking about them putting these games on some sort of rotation system so they will have like 3 games on game pass for like 2 or 3 months and then switch them out and just keep doing this.

This was already like half-arsed announced though. They have been cleaning up the servers and prepping them. It is going to happen for at least some of the titles, if not all of them.
 
From my understanding, there is a lot to fix. Like security wise and hacker wise. Not just on PC but console as well. I am guessing they are going to be working on this for awhile. I think the smart move would be to have separate servers for Game Pass players that are patched and fixed. Let the people looking to exploit the games play on the busted servers.
 
I really hope they get them on there soon just cause all the FPS games I am playing or have played recently, I am burned out on. I want something new and refreshing to play but without the risk. Even though I spent hours upon hours playing the pre-2013 COD titles online, I could easily slide back into them especially with friends.

I know if this happens, all the people I played with back then will be online all at once again and we will get a massive party going and it will feel like old times. Man I miss it. I was 16 when BO2 came out. It was so good having that constant group that was always down to play.
