The State of Leonida is a fictional state located in the United States of America. Home to Vice City, Leonida was created for, and debuts in, the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI.
Not to be confused with the State of Florida, on which it is based, which appears in Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as the state home to Vice City.
Description
The State of Leonida is a fictionalized version of the real-world State of Florida in the United States of America. Rockstar Games used real-world state names during the 2D and 3D eras, so the location of Vice City in Leonida confirms this beyond other contextual clues.
Leonida is known for its warm climate and popular beaches, including Vice Beach. The state is best known for being home to Vice City.
