Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has once again stoked anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6, describing the upcoming game as "extraordinary" and "breathtaking" in a recent interview with YouTuber Conner Mather.

Despite fans' growing impatience, Zelnick remains tight-lipped about specific details. When the TikTok star asked him to sum up the game in a few words, he confidently stated it would be "worth waiting for" - a sentiment that has become characteristic of the game's prolonged marketing approach.

The gaming world has been on tenterhooks since the game's first trailer dropped in December last year. Since then, any new piece of information has been hard to come by, with Rockstar Games maintaining a near-total silence about the highly anticipated title.

Regardless, hype and anticipation for the game is undeniable. At The Game Awards, GTA 6 won "Most Anticipated Game of 2025," though surprisingly, no representatives from Rockstar were present to accept the award.

Industry insider Jason Schreier has raised questions about the game's planned Fall 2025 release, suggesting it might potentially be delayed. The game's magnitude is so huge that it's reportedly causing other publishers to reconsider their own release schedules.

As for fans, they continue to search for hints, with some believing Rockstar is subtly teasing the game through Easter eggs in GTA Online, including a nod to the classic Vice City setting.

While it might take a while before we get any concrete details about GTA 6, Zelnick's comments suggest Rockstar is confident in what it's developing. In a playful moment during the interview, he even laughed off Mather's request to include a lookalike NPC in the game, saying, "Almost certainly not."
